About Rasid
Who is behind Rasid
Rasid is built and operated by Osama Wahab in Karachi, Pakistan. It exists to give small businesses an easy way to record sales and take part in FBR's Digital Invoicing system without needing to understand its technical details.
Where the product stands
Rasid is in private beta with a small number of businesses. The connection to FBR's Digital Invoicing system has been tested against FBR's sandbox environment, and each business connects with its own FBR token when it is ready to go live. The Android app is in testing, and online payment is not switched on yet.
How your data is handled
Your sales and business details are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. Your FBR token is encrypted before it is stored (AES-256-GCM). You can ask us to delete your business and its records at any time. See the Privacy page for details.
Independent of FBR
Rasid is independent software, not affiliated with or endorsed by FBR. Each business remains responsible for confirming its own correct tax treatment.
